That's a great reminder Michael. At some point it gets difficult to distinguish between certain groups. I believe the large pentecostal denominations, while affirming that God wants those signs to follow believers (and individuals specifically), don't follow that it is necessary for salvation.

The movement of the Spirit worldwide is definitely encouraging!

I would go further and distinguish between Pentecostals and Revivalists who require tongues for salvation.
The issue here is that Pentecostalism has always taught, and continues to do so, that tongues (as are casting out demons, healing etc) are "signs of those who follow" (See Mark 16).

But on a more general note, it is good to see more and more denominations embrace the fullness of the Holy Spirit in their faith. This is what yields a vibrant and dynamism that is essential in this life.

It is amazingly common this belief that Pentecostals believe that but as you said it is rubbish.
